The San Diego Pan Pacific Law Enforcement Association was established in 1993 to mentor law enforcement officers with Asian and Pacific Islander heritage. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and share the commitment of creating a positive future for San Diego Law Enforcement and the diverse communities we serve. PANPAC is committed to serving the community of San Diego, as well as all the law enforcement agencies within the county of San Diego.
We believe and follow the concept of “Family Always Comes First”. So we treat every member as a part of our one big OHANA. One of our main goals is to provide our members and their families with support and assistance to help with coping with the difficulties and hardship that come with the law enforcement profession.
We offer opportunities to share and learn from our diverse background, network with others in law enforcement and form partnerships within the community.
One of our largest annual events is our Scholarship Awards and Fundraising Luau. We provide several scholarship opportunities to our members’ children who are moving forward to college and obtaining higher goals in education. We have dedicated our highest level of scholarship in honor of our fallen hero and brother, and named it the Officer Jonathan “JD” De Guzman Memorial Scholarship Award.
We have other family oriented events throughout the year such as the Dragonboat races, socials at different locations, sporting events, and scheduled travel events. We are always looking to our members for new ideas for activities and events. From these activities and events, you will establish networking opportunities, meet new friends and create lifelong relationships within our PANPAC Family.
Members of PANPAC are also automatically entered as a member of NAPOA (National Asian Peace Officers Association). NAPOA is a nationwide association that consists of thousands of members from Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies.
PANPAC is a Non-Profit, Charitable Organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, therefore membership dues to the Association are considered tax deductible.
Contact any Director for further information. Membership applications can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to P.O. BOX 122924, San Diego, CA 92112.
